In the third quarter of 2024, Latvia's top communication apps on the Android platform demonstrated varying trends in terms of downloads and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Telegram showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $1.6K in early July and peaking at approximately $2.7K by the end of September. However, its weekly downloads exhibited a downward trend, starting from about 2.8K in the first week of July and dropping to around 1.6K by the end of the quarter.

Snapchat experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, ranging from $526 to $912, with a peak towards the end of September. The app's weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, averaging around 1.2K throughout the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out maintained a steady increase in weekly revenue, beginning at $432 in early July and reaching up to $816 by the end of September. Downloads varied slightly, starting at 893 in the first week of July and settling around 732 by the quarter's end.

Skype had modest revenue figures, with weekly revenue fluctuating between $127 and $271. Its downloads were consistent, hovering around 112 on average, with a slight peak of 136 in late August.

Rakuten Viber Messenger showed a slight increase in weekly revenue, with figures ranging from $62 to $157. Download numbers started at 282 in early July, experiencing a gradual decline to 204 by the end of the quarter.
